Spice Cake

2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 cup applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Combine dry ingredients, add eggs, oil, applesauce and vanilla and 
mix well. Pour into a greased and floured bunt pan and bake at 
325 degrees for 45 minutes.

Icing

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 cups confectioners  sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine cream cheese and vanilla together in a bowl, slowly add 
sugar mixing with a hand mixer constantly until smooth.
