Two down-on-their-luck men were talking 
while sitting next to the railroad tracks 
awaiting a freight train to take them to 
another town.

"So, what did you do before you became a bum?" 
one man asked the other. 

"I was a building contractor," answered the 
second man.

"Ain't that a coincidence. So was I," replied 
the first man. "So what happened? Couldn't win
any bids?"

"No," answered the second man. "I won 'em all."
