The Bruin Dog

A man walks into a sports bar with a dog wearing
a blue and gold collar.  The bartender tells him
"Hey, you can't bring that dog in here!" 

The man pleads, "But this is a Bruin dog!"

"Whaddya mean a 'Bruin dog'?"

"This dog is a Bruin -- he's a loyal fan of UCLA."
The man pleaded, "Every year, he has to watch the
USC-UCLA game.  My TV is broken so we came here to
watch it.  Be a pal, let us watch the game here - I
promise we won't make problems."

So the bartender told him he and his dog could sit
way in the back and quietly watch the game.

They watched the game with barely controlled enthusiasm
and at the end, when UCLA won 34-17, the dog leaped onto
a table. He barked the UCLA fight song while doing back
flips, and then he finished with a UCLA eight-clap
(clapping his paws together and barking).

By this time many patrons of the bar had gathered around
to see the dog in action.  They all applauded.  Then
one of the on-lookers asked the guy what the dog would
have done if USC had one the game?

"I don't know," replied the man, "I have only had the
dog eight years!"
