WHAT A LINE! "I'll be back" -- Arnold Schwarzenegger's ominous quote from the 1984 film "Terminator" -- tops the list of most memorable movie quotes. That's according to a survey of more than 1,000 people conducted by researchers at California State University in Los Angeles. Those who took part in the study -- results of which were presented at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Association in Washington -- provided up to 15 of their favorite movie quotes for a total of more than 2,600 different remarks. Schwarzenegger's quote was cited 159 times by the people contacted through mail, e-mail, Internet solicitations and street interviews. The runner-up, with 145 responses, was the memorable put-down by Clark Gable: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn," from "Gone With the Wind" in 1939. The other top quotes: "Show me the money," from the movie "Jerry Maguire" (1996). "Go ahead, make my day," "Sudden Impact" (1983). "Mama always said life is like a box of chocolates...," "Forrest Gump" (1994). "You can't handle the truth", "A Few Good Men" (1992). "Hasta la vista, Baby", "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991). "May the force be with you", "Star Wars" (1977). "There's no place like home", "The Wizard of Oz" (1939). "Yeah, baby," "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" (1998). "Casablanca" (1942) generated three quotes that had multiple citations: "Here's looking at you, kid" "Round up the usual suspects" and the oft-misquoted "Play it again, Sam." The actual quote is: "Play it once, Sam, for old time's sake. Play 'As Time Goes By'." Two favorite movie quotes are both from "Blazing Saddles": "Work, work, work, work, work. Hello, boys, did you have a good night? I missed you" and "'Scuse me while I whip this out." A CENSUS OF A DIFFERENT COLOR The makers of Crayola crayons want to know people's favorite crayon colors. To compile a list of "Who's Hue," Binney & Smith is inviting Internet surfers to log onto their Web site (www.crayola.com) to take part in the Crayola Color Census 2000. Everyone who registers their choice will be "counted-in" for the chance to win a 10-day trip for four to such colorful sights as The White House, Yellowstone National Park and the Golden Gate Bridge. Crayola crayons currently come in 120 colors -- including 23 shades of reds, 20 greens, 19 blues, 16 purples, 14 oranges, 11 browns, and 8 yellows. The nearly 3 billion Crayola crayons made annually at the factory in Easton, Penn., are enough to circle the world six times.
